Two Red Skyline GT-R’s just shipped today. When the R34 GT-R debuted from 1999 to 2002, Nissan had perfected it into a high-tech halo car, but Active Red (AR2) remained one of its rarest colors, with only 122 produced. Japanese buyers overwhelmingly preferred Bayside Blue, White, and Black, while Nissan’s marketing reinforced blue as the signature “hero” color. Combined with red paint’s tendency to fade over time, few dealers ordered it. Today, both R32 and R34 GT-Rs in red are among the rarest factory color variants, highly prized by collectors for their boldness and rarity in a lineup dominated by more conservative shades. #jdm #gtr #r32 #r34

The @garageszer0 400R #29 has landed back in the Motherland JAPAN! We will be heading to Japan to pick her up and head to @gtrmagazine1994 R’s Meeting 2025 @fujispeedway_official on October 26th! I am calling out all the 400R owners on the island to come to R’s Meeting this year! If things couldn’t get any better. We will also be taking some first looks at the completed @builtbylegends Yamabuki Yellow BNR34 GTR. 🤩 This is definetly a 🪣 list trip with the car that was restored and improved by @tommyfyeah and our whole @garageszer0 team! Two big events in one day JCCS & Willow Springs Reimagined… and we made it out to both. The whole Marina Green Park was packed with beautifully restored classics — everything from Datsun 240Zs and old-school Skylines to RX-7s, Celicas, and perfectly preserved Hondas. You could really feel how far the show has come since it first started back in 2005; it’s gone from a small gathering of enthusiasts to one of the most respected Japanese car events in the country. This year’s theme, “Phoenix,” was spot on — it felt like a true celebration of how these cars and their culture have not just survived but thrived. One of the coolest parts was the BRE 60th Anniversary Reunion with Peter Brock and John Morton — total legends Willow Springs Reimagined had a display of iconic cars from the Petersen Automotive Museum and Singer Vehicle Design, alongside a large car show, special guests, food trucks, vendors, and exclusive merch.  The place felt electric — blending old-school racing heritage with a modern push forward. As “America’s oldest permanent road course,” Willow Springs is going through a renaissance: the new ownership is investing in preserving its storied past while building it into a premier hub for all kinds of automotive enthusiasts. Yesterday, we attended the Los Angeles Diecast Club Cruise-In and Larry Chen Book Release at the Petersen Automotive Museum. The event brought together car enthusiasts from all over for an afternoon of cars, culture, and community. The cruise-in featured an incredible mix of vehicles, from rare classics to modern favorites, all parked in front of the iconic museum. Inside, we checked out the R33 GT-R LM which was crazy to see in person and got to see the debut of the brand-new Kaido House LTDEDN diecast release. Collectors lined up to grab exclusive vouchers for the limited edition piece, and there were also new product launches from Diecast Talk, Ritter Goods, and special Mini GT items available.
